Privacy Tech Startup WireWheel Achieves AWS Security Competency Status: Helping Companies Rapidly Build Privacy-by-Design into their Products and Services on AWS
Recognition from Amazon Web Services as leading provider of privacy services to bring new business opportunities to enterprises and fast-growing companies
Arlington, VA – Today, WireWheel, a D.C. area-based privacy software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, announced today that the company achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency status. The designation recognizes that WireWheel’s “privacy program in a box” platform along with the company’s expertise in the privacy, data science, and security domains helps customers across AWS achieve their privacy-related cloud security goals.
Achieving the AWS Security Competency differentiates WireWheel as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized privacy tools to help small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprises adopt, develop and deploy complex security projects on AWS, particularly enabling building in or retrofitting privacy-by-design principles into product or service development and delivery. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.
“We are proud to be recognized by AWS for our work,” said Justin Antonipillai, Founder and CEO of WireWheel. “Achieving AWS Security Competency status reinforces our ability to provide AWS customers with the ability to share privacy-related insights across their entire organization and providing additional insights that are unique to the security professionals’ perspective, enabling the team sport approach that modern privacy compliance requires. Our platform and approach are valuable to existing AWS customers as well companies who are in the process of migrating to the cloud or who are maintaining hybrid cloud environments. We are proud to continue deepening our relationship with AWS and providing AWS customers with additional privacy tools.”
AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.
