Closing Keynote + Remarks
Alastair Mactaggart, Founder and Chair of Californians for Consumer Privacy, is the closing keynote. He is the champion of both the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the new Proposition 24/California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) that passed on Nov 3, 2020. He will enlighten SPOKES attendees on what this means for businesses today, how CPRA compares to Europe’s GDPR privacy law, and what Prop 24 means for privacy rights in California and beyond.
WireWheel CEO Justin Antonipillai will recap the conference and close out the evening.

Hear what attendees in the 2020 Summer SPOKES event had to say:

I liked that Privacy was folded into the current events that are happening in the country. This made the sessions more relevant and real.

Speakers in the breakout sessions were clearly industry experts and had very practical insights.

The speakers were PHENOMENAL! By far one of the best conferences I’ve ever been to. Being from South Africa, we don’t get exposure to speakers like that and it’s prohibitively expensive to travel overseas for a conference, so the digital format opened this up to us. I LOVED it – thank you so much!
